Drop The "Y"

This week, we begin a new sermon series titled "My/Your/Our Church." As we celebrate 35 years of God's faithfulness to Good Shepherd Baptist Church- To God be the Glory! - we are reminded of Jesus' words: "I will build My Church."

In this series, we will journey from the mindset of "Your Church" to embracing the vision of "Our Church." This is not about personal preferences or comfort. If you think following Jesus is about living a life catered to your wants and likes, you may be missing the call.

Jesus said, "Take up your cross and follow Me." He calls us to be a part of His Church - to push back the darkness, bring hope to the hopeless, shine light in the shadows, and advance the Kingdom of Heaven both here on earth and to the ends of the earth.

Our church needs you. It's time to step into the purpose, power, and presence of being part of Our Church - a family on mission.
